news <volume #> - display a specific news item
news list - displays all available news item
news clear - marks all available news items as read
news last - displays the most recent news item and clears the prompt
Description
The NEWS command keeps you informed of current goings-on in Alyria. Immortals will post news items to inform players about rule changes, additions to the game, etc. News items are always important and should be read carefully.
If you have unread news, a [NEWS] prompt will show up on your status bar until you have read the item(s). NEWS LAST removes the prompt but news items remain available to be read later.
You can read old news postings by typing NEWS followed by the volume number you wish to read. number you wish to read. NEWS LIST ALL will show all viewable news items, including those that have expired.
