Description
Drop
Drops an object that you are carrying, or gold coins, on the ground. To drop everything, you can DROP ALL. If the item or items you are trying to drop are cursed with evil magic, you may not be able to let go of it.
Use 'drop #.' or 'drop all.' to reference a specific item when duplicate items are present, or all objects of the same name.
You can also reference items using quotes around the full short description instead of just name keywords. For example, if the item is called "a wizard's cloak", you can reference it by typing: drop "a wizard's cloak".
Be careful when dropping items in places you haven't been, or otherwise suspicious-looking rooms. Some places have magical spells placed on them that will send anything dropped in them to the Ethereal Void, where they have a good chance of being destroyed by the wights and ethereal vapors there. A good way to test and see if you can safely drop an item in the room is to drop a single gold coin (DROP 1 COIN) and see if it survives.
Some items may have the 'KEPT' attribute, which means that they'll remain in your inventory even if you type 'DROP ALL' - you'll have to drop the item individually if you wish to dispose of it.
