Name
desecrate armor — alters victim's equipment so it reduces regeneration, reverses some positive spells.
Synopsis
cast 'desecrate armor' <target>
Description
This spell targets the victim's equipment worn in four primary armor locations: head, legs, arms, and torso and imbues the item with unholy power in the form of decreased regeneration of hit points, spell points, and stamina. The type of decreased regeneration depends on the location the equipment is worn.
The act of desecration has the exceptional power to remove consecrations and blessings from the armor, although it may take multiple casts to remove such positive tainting.
Truly good items, as well as weapons aligned to resist magic, cannot be desecrated through this method.
