Every now and then, everyone is struck by the notion that their hair does not have to be a stringy, shaggy mess! Something ought to be done about it, and something can be; get a stylish haircut! Adventurers and ordinary citizens alike can get haircuts for the modest fee of 150,000 gold (500 in Lasler, south of Galbo's Armor) at their nearest barbershop. Most barbers are a nigh-surly, masculine bunch, and see little need for a lot of jabbering or talking, so simply giving the money to them is typically the most expedient route.
For those inclined towards caring what their hair looks like, beyond the usual oily, scraggly mess: tough. The barbering trade gets its humor where it can, and giving amusing haircuts to troublesome customers, which they all are, is a time-honored pastime. For those adventurers well-heeled enough to be able to afford their own supplies do-it-yourself haircutting kits are also available at barber shops. Some barbers are so gifted at their craft that they can cut hair in ways that nobody else can, and certainly no kit can replicate.
