Synopsis
cast slipstream
Description
A crucial tool in a chronomancer's skill set, slipstream permits the caster to lend a few seconds from the past to the future. In the time provided, they will stuff the middle parts of a spell they cast in the future, reducing its cast time by half. Time-altering magic being what it is, of course, this affect is volatile and very short-lived. Once cast, the next spell must be cast quickly, lest the slipstream fade with no benefit. Until then, a chronomancer can slipstream between rooms twice as fast as normal, rivaling the movement of the shades of the deceased.
