Description

The first rains of the season are valued by housekeepers for their cleansing value, taking off the top layer of dirt and grime. That water disrupts complex magical processes means it is equally valued by mages. When the weather is not forthcoming, those attuned to the clouds can encourage the first rain themselves, bringing clouds welling with moisture to dump onto magical constructs they want to clean up. Due to the tremendous amount of moisture required to manipulate the weather like this, the first rain can be summoned a maximum of once per hour in any given area.
