Description
The scales of many desert reptiles are covered in toxins. Because a diving goshawk will drop them to death within seconds of picking them up, removing as many barriers to poisoning predators is key to survival in the desert wastes. As it is purely defensive, it won't benefit aggressors, but that's rarely a problem in the land of the bleaching sun.
