Name

sunspots — sporefolk have weak optic nerve, reducing their damage output in sunlight by 20%

Synopsis

cast sunspots <victim>

Description

Mindtakers are known for overwhelming their prey with the sensation of flashing, glaring lights, especially in the darkness where recovering from the illusion is as debilitating as the sensation itself. Even artificial sunspots harness the power of the sun, even if it is by reputation rather than direct radiation.

Psionics are able to leverage this ability as well, but with some difficulty - the optic nerve is a part of the brain, but different enough to be awkward to work around.

Sporefolk, the shy race of sentient fungus people, have very delicate skin and suffer from sunspots any time they are in direct sunlight. These affects go away when they take refuge indoors and at night.
