Metonychoseuthis, With Swiveling Hooks is a kind and generous deity when its followers are kindly and generously sharing swiveling hooks with the world. Nothing is more important than sharing as many hooks with the world as possible. World-ending hooks are terrifying, of course, leaving anyone who would be surprised by their sudden appearance panicked as a result of their sudden appearance. Everyone in the room will be freshly panicked. The hooks then embed themselves in everyone in the enemy formation, increasing their vulnerability to pain. After the hooks are firmly embedded in the enemy, they are yanked- causing a great deal of pain damage to everyone who just had dread hooks yanked out of them. Due to the way the magic is woven, a cultist performing this ritual with a bola, yo-yo, flail, whip, or nunchaku will find their spellcasting more effective, dealing significant damage to their target.
