Getting started
quest undertake cooking tutorial(or equivalent) on any character — quest #3391 (Cooking Tutorial - The Mark).- USE the index card you receive to pick a starter recipe (commonly steak and potatoes or scorpion soup).
- Gather ingredients, travel to a cooking station (
where is cooking-griddle/where is cooking-cauldron). cook <recipe>while holding the index card until the quest phases complete.- Give meals to other players; they must eat them. After quest phases, keep cooking for unique eaters until you proc
You have gained the Mark of …! - After the mark: you no longer need the card for that recipe; USE your old card to roll a new random recipe.

Alliance halls: Most alliances have purchased Alliance Stronghold Cooking Supply placement orders (griddle, oven, mixing bowl, cauldron, icebox, etc.) somewhere in the stronghold. alliance gohall and ask in alliancetalk where the tools are — often handier than public Tellerium rooms.
Index cards: an index card containing a recipe — Dingereal the Sage, 8,000 QP (max 2 per character). Recipe book also sold there.
Room # column: fixed shops/rooms use GMCP # (mapper goto). Empty # means no single room — see Notes (wandering NPC, mob drop, buckskin, ground spawn, etc.).
