Synopsis
train
train <attribute>
train <vital stat>
Description
Through use of the TRAIN command, you can permanently increase your character's attributes, such as strength, wisdom and sanity. You can also train your character's vital stats (hp, spell points, stamina).
Training sessions can be purchased at trainers by using practice points. These trainers can be found in most major cities and in some remote locations.
In order to increase an attribute by 1, it costs 80 practices. Every class has a primary attribute, listed in its respective help entry- in order to increase your current class' primary attribute, it only costs 60 practices.
Increasing your hp by 10 costs 30 practices, while 10 spell points costs 27, and 10 stamina costs 20 practices.
Each race has different maximum attributes and vital stats. Each class has a primary attribute associated with it, and each time your character becomes a new class, you will gain +2 to that class' primary attribute maximum (up to 25). When an Adventurer becomes an Archon at level 241, each of their attribute maximums increases by 2 (up to 25) and their vital stat maximums increase by 1000.
Using practices to train is not the only way of gaining attributes and vital stats- there also exist items called Manuals which can be used to increase them.
