Description
Sister Mary Marget Gertrude La'Hearse was a simple nun, infamous both in boxing and charitable circles. Weariness with the violent world of boxing led her to set up one of the continent's first charitable organizations - the Rune Orphanage. After she passed away, the affable Uncle Spadge stepped forward to carry on her legacy, toiling for decades to give the lost and downtrodden a warm bed.
To this day, novices between levels 15-59 can find him on Solomon Street in Rune and be offered a safe haven for four Alyrian months (or one real-life). Agreeing to Uncle Spadge's offer ("sayto spadge yes") will give you RECALL access to the Orphanage from almost anywhere in the world, allowing you to return to Rune no matter how great the distance. Unfortunately, donations to the Orphanage have dried up in recent years and Spadge has been forced to impose limits on numbers, much to his chagrin; once players reach level 60, Spadge will no longer be able to offer you a place, and the same applies if you have already stayed at the Orphanage.
